Cleanup Crew for Darkling Beetle Habitat?

Are there any bugs that could help in cleaning up my darkling beetle/mealworm habitat? I want an easy way to clean out dead mealworms and little bits of moldy carrot. Their substrate is oats. I was thinking of getting some dermestid larvae, but then I learned that they turn into beetles which fly and bite, so that's a no go. Any suggestions?

Buffalo beetle larvae is a great way to clean out you tank, they will eat dead mealworms, molts, etc.
