Travis McEnery just put out episode four of Spider Basics: Beyond the Eight Legs. This episode is called “Classifying and Identifying Spiders” and is a great introduction to spider taxonomy if you are interested. (Its target audience is beginners, so it’s very approachable.)

Just finished this video, really love Travis McEnery and his work, especially refer to the Recluse video a lot because it's one of the best videos I've seen on them that gives a very realistic, balanced view of their venom and how dangerous they actually are, as well as great pointers for beginners to ID recluses.

Just being a goof . I do think it is hilarious yet sad that they had to convince the court that bees meet the criteria to legally be considered fish by the state of California, all just to get conservation efforts going
