cinnamon is moulting

Hi guys my cinnamon is on it back moulting hmm..the C Lamanai...but its not moving at all though anything i can do to help? how long does a moult take the longest? would a heat pad under work? I thought it will move to try to get out of its moult but its not moving at all!

Patience...it can take anywhere from twenty minutes to two days.Just leave it alone.Don't try and help it.It'll do fine on it's own.They can lay motionless for quite some time giving the idea somethings wrong when in fact it's totally normal.Relax...give it some time...have a beer or something...lol....peace..

well he could put a heating pad under it if he wants some fresh toasted T! flies on the side and crix on the beech to drink

ok good i took the heating pad out i had it for only about 20 mins..and beside there is substrate kindda hard for the heat to rise up..

True, but, T's burrow to escape heat, not to go near it. With a heating pad, the more it burrows, the closer and hotter it gets. This could create some serious problems as mentioned previously.

I do not use any supplemental heating on my T's. My room for the T's is always between 75-80 degrees and they require no additional heat. Do not disturb a T in a molt, let nature take it's course.

I didnt disturb it..its done its moult right now..abdomen shrunk a little..funny part is that its abdomen was fat before it moult and it hasnt eaten at all for like a year..ive never seen my C Lamanai eat..funny hey..i took its moult out when i got home..shdnt do that though...i might have disturbed it..now its real pretty..if i have a pic ill post it up here..

after my cinnamon moult i notice the tip of one of its leg going inside instead of out..it might be because of its stance its this normal? its moult was successful though..
