Do cicadas pose a signifigant impaction risk to a horned frog (C. Ornata)?

I just fed one to my frog. I figure he'll be fine because he has a heat lamp so the temperature is fine for digestion but I just wanted to be sure

well, as far as I know all they have is tat big sap sucking probe thing.

frog +1 cicada nice meal
=
earth -1 loud annoying cicada :p

if you were worried about impaction perhaps you should have asked first. but I know how it is, you find a cicada flying around your porch light and the first thing to pop in your head is FOOD!

I hope everything comes out ok (for the frog's sake)

I think it'll be fine. He had just had a mouse just a few days before. He's really good about digesting stuff, I once fed him nothing but T. Molitor beetles for almost a month when he was younger (it was all I had) and I never found a single elytra in his droppings. I'm going to feed him goldfish and pinkies for the next month until I'm sure it's passed.

He's been impacted before. When he was younger, I kept him on bark chips and when he ate a cricket, the cricket would hold on to one of the chips for dear life and he would eat them by accident. I just gave him a drop of mineral oil and everything was ok.
