Jason (P.jasonius) took this pic while in training before going to Iraq (where he's currently and hasn't been on the boards lately) Talked to him last night and he sent me this pic

when i saw the title though, i thought it was gonna be a pic of one emerging and becoming an adult still not bad though.

when i was a kid, i used to love catching them in this stage, putting them in a little bug box, and waking up to an adult cicada in the morning. ah, to be a kid...

When I lived in Arkansas they were everywhere! I accidentally dug one up one time. It was already injured by ants so it died soon afterward. Jason also has a couple others of this cicada peeking out of its burrow but they were kinda blurry.

haha, that's where i found all the ones i played with! man would they screech if you got ahold of one... whew!
