Yeah, ferrets aren’t really that hard to have in CA there are many vets that will take care of them.

No tree up this year, no one comes to our house - we have to go to theirs so there isnt a lot of point in the expense and trouble. going to try some other setups with them and see if we what we can do.

And dianne, they can be $150 to $250 to buy and are pretty high maintenance as far as small animals go.

Do you have a brick fireplace? That would make a good backdrop too. Or just like a christmas centerpiece or some candles in the background.

150$ - 250$...that much? i think i'll get my kids a guinnea pig!!
and maby mysea chinchilla one day...again. but not anytime soon...my small son would mistake them for food...he already tries to eat my T's and dragons and go fishing in the aquarium...and he isn't even 2 yet!!

and yes, i know the vets here can treat ferrets, you can buy everything for the ferrets - but you can not buy the animal in a petstore and are not allowed to own them (if found out they WILL kill the animal!!) and i'm not going to gamble with the life of an animal - since where i live they have yearly inspections , plus random inspections.

I used to own 2 gliders (see my avatar) - they were the best!

They are high-maintenance, and even with a "friend," they need a lot of attention! I had to give mine up when I had children just because I wanted them to be with someone who could spend more time with them.
