Hi, im looking to add a second chinchilla to give my current pet a companion. Does anybody know any reputable breeders that I can purchase one from. Im looking for someone that can give me a healthy yet not overly priced chinchilla, preferably male to prevent breeding.

Thanks.

Hey I sent you a PM I'm not sure if you got it. Also, getting another male may result in fighting, you might want to get your male neutered and get a female companion. Neutering is a high risk for a small animal but the best present for a chinchilla is another chinch.

I know lots of people who keep males together with no problem..totally depends on the chin.

Just saying it's always a possibility, especially when introducing them separately and not raising them together.
