I've never had this species in particular but all chilobrachys have the same general care so you can look up any other species and you'll be fine.

Deep moist substrate. Hide. It'll web everything up eventually.

Some people think they need anchor points for webbing. That's false. They don't care in the slightest.

Edit: random tidbit. pavei is also sold as burmensis.

I have one, as others have said deep moist sub, hide and I gave mine anchor points. It used them, the angle of the pic makes it look like the sub isn't deep but the enclosure is half full and the spider was only 1/2 inch when I put it in there. It's due for a rehouse now. By the way, the pic is all I ever see of it...meaning not at all, lol.

Oddly enough im rather fond of the pet holes lol. Its always such a treat when you do get to see them! Thank you for the information though. Mine is arriving in the mail this week and i want to make sure its enclosure is set up to its standards!

Same as any other Chilobrachys spp.

Deep moist substrate, hide with a starter burrow and a few anchor points outside the entrance and you're good.

I like to give them the option, sometimes they ignore them completely, other times they use them to set up the burrow entrance just how they like it, this one opted to split the entrance down the middle and have a hole either side.

thats fair. i think its fun to try and influence how the cage will eventually look coated in webs. fun, but unnecessary.

Is that a Chilobrachys huahini? If I was to ever get one, this would be my first choice.

Edit: Did not notice, the quote literally says the name of the spider...

It would seem that they're somewhat underrated (wouldn't have even been my first choice but I got her as a surprise freebie and she's kinda grown on me now), pretty much everyone goes gooey for the blue ones or fimbriatus.

I guess their colours are somewhat bland to people, how is her temperament?

Skittish/defensive, she runs back into her burrow when disturbed, throws up threat postures and slaps when cornered, might throw in the odd bolt just to keep things interesting.
