Few questions for a couple species of the genus Chilobrachys. Please help.

  • Chilobrachys dyscolus blue (South Vietnam)
    • How big do females get?
    • What size do males mature?
I have three unsexed specimens at approximately 3.5”. All have molted within two weeks ago and none has emboli... yet?

  • Chilobrachys sp. “Kaeng Krachan”
    • What color are the slings at 1”?
    • At what size do females turn all black in appearance? Or are they black from the start?
    • Are my two specimens below ‘C. sp. “Kaeng Krachan”’?
I have two specimens that both molted within a week ago - one of which I discovered to be a mature male measuring at approximately 3.5-4”. Picture labeled as (m) below depicts his emboli. The other specimen is 5.25” stretched and does not show to have palpal bulbs. Pictures labeled as (f) are of the 5.25” suspect female.
What alarms me is their coloration. I received them from a trade along with the three aforementioned dyscolus blue. While I have no doubts of the identity of my dyscolus blue, I am unsure of my so-called sp. “Kaeng Krachan”. I received a 3/4” C sp. “Kaeng Krachan” sling not too long ago from a reputable keeper that is @John2097. The sling John gave is uniformly dark gray in color, showing no browns compared to my traded specimens as they were growing up - which displayed shades of brown for the most part of their bodies.

•1” color I’d say faded black.

•They’ll turn solid black when they’re adult

•Yes they’re chilobrachys Kaeng Krachan

•Freshly molted mm c sp Kaeng Krachan might look bluish on camera flash. But will eventually fade it’s color after a while

•male can varies in size I had male that matured in 2.5” and others 5”

Picture below is my adult female C Kaeng Krachan.

2.5” Smaller male might look different in color compare to 5” mm c Kaeng Krachan

@John2097 WOW thanks so much for the info! Really eased my mind :D.
So my 5.25” specimen may not be a suspect female after all .

Have an idea what sizeC. dyscolus blue (South Vietnam) male matures?
