Cheese is a Handsome dude!
It's good to see others really groovin' on their hissers....They can be real characters and good pets, in their own right. :)

Congrats on your new kid!

Thank you! C:

He came with a lady, but unfortunately she died recently due to a horrible miscarriage of eggs.

She was a sweetheart.

Cheese, however, is the angriest insect I have ever encountered. XD

Ahhhh ~ he's all bluster and blow...{D

Go get him a few girlies to entertain and he'll settle right in.
Good luck with your new guard-bug! :D

If the tank smells 'nasty' then they aren't being kept properly.
We have literally thousands upon thousands of these kids...and not a whiff of odor. :)

*Is the teacher misting the tank, by any chance?

One of my roaches went that way.

Really nice hisser! They can have an attitude. Gokiburi, my roach, had an attitude problem. Good luck on your lady roach hunt!

Nice hisser. I recently got into them. Have mine set up in a 10 gallon with vaseline at the top so they have a very slim chance of escaping.

As for smell... I don't notice any smell with mine at all.

Great thing is after the first week I got them I already had little 'uns running around {D
