As most of you know, my sister and brother n-law have a reptile shop and here is some of their newest arrivals. I had to show a couple of these off because they are simply stunning and amazing. First up is a few pics of their new Mellers Chameleon. As you can see its really nice sized and the colors are gorgeous.

This is or was their beloved Homer. He wasn't full grown yet but boy is he big compared to my iguana. He has a new home now and we will miss him. He was just a big baby. Love you Homer!

This is my newest addition from their shop. I was very intrigued with this guy. It's a Tanzanian Legless lizard that is so cool. I tell you all I really need a bigger house because I just can't help myself when they get in new things. I keep falling in love with them:D

Actually PG,
These guys are only found in Australia, New Guinea, and its surrounding islands. They are in the genus Lialis and are lizard eaters. Their main prey in the wild is small skinks. They will do fine on anoles or house geckos in captivity though. The one in the pic looks like Lialis jicari, but I may be wrong. Never pick the little guy up by the tail as they can break off. They can regenerate the tails if it does come off. Did your dealer give you a scientific name?

Are you sure? I could have sworn I saw Steve Irwin chasing one of those around some dune in Africa once.

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that they were only found in Australia and Indonisia. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I've always wanted a lizard, but they can be sort of too high maintenance for me since they roughly need more heating requirements than say Arachnids.
