Thanks man pretty pumped. Excited I get to set her up in a long term nice enclosure now.Nice.
Now you gotta paint the room pink.
They’re so cute looking when little!Versicolor sling taking a drink!
It was pretty funny, a few times a week I drip water in their webbing sometimes they just walk straight up to it and drink. This guy wouldn’t get off the lid so I figured I’d put a drop next to him and he dove face first in to it. Drank for a good 5+ minutes then calmly walked off the lid up his vial and back to his webbing. Versicolors are awesome slings. They’re so cute looking when little!
Yeah out of all of my tarantulas I’ve seen my versicolors drink more than anything else!!It was pretty funny, a few times a week I drip water in their webbing sometimes they just walk straight up to it and drink. I’ve always been able to ventrally sex Versicolors pretty easily and small. The males have a prominent “spot/patch” of hair. Just keep an eye out when on the glass.Yeah out of all of my tarantulas I’ve seen my versicolors drink more than anything else!!
yeah I agree they are awesome!! I will always have at least one, if not a couple!
hoping to molt sex my sling in about 6mo!
Yeah mine is just living in the web castle so when it gets rehoused in about 2 molts I will be able to get it out and sex it!!I’ve always been able to ventrally sex Versicolors pretty easily and small. The males have a prominent “spot/patch” of hair. Just keep an eye out when on the glass.
Yeah I love them so far! One of mine is out pretty much all the time!P. Cambridgei coming out for a drink.
These are great spiders even as slings
They are definitely more inquisitive than irminia I’ve raisedYeah I love them so far! One of mine is out pretty much all the time!
How big is this one? Looks like its getting ready to molt.Smaller of my two C. Elegans. Bigger one has become a pet hole
Somewhere bw 1/8-1/4”. It molted a couple weeks ago and ate two nights ago but I keep my slings pretty warm so things go down suddenly. I love keeping things warmer always some action. I really hope it does though still makes me super nervous even though I’ve had it a while. How big is this one? Looks like its getting ready to molt.
I have 3 of them around the same size. They are fun to watch.Somewhere bw 1/8-1/4”. It molted a couple weeks ago and ate two nights ago but I keep my slings pretty warm so things go down suddenly. I
I got that one then received one about 3 times the size as a freebie. Would love to be able to pair them but the thought of housing/feeding/selling that many Slings 1/16 or less seems nerve rackingI have 3 of them around the same size. They are fun to watch.
I am hoping I have a pair as they mature. Mine are eating cut pieces of mealworms fine at that size. I think the slings will do the same at 2i. But yeah 75 tiny slings would be a fun challenge.I got that one then received one about 3 times the size as a freebie. Yeah I don’t see my P. irminia, haven’t even seen exactly how big it even is, holed up in a tiny hide behind a piece of bark. Just sticks it’s black legs out. They are definitely more inquisitive than irminia I’ve raised
