They’re so cute looking when little!
It was pretty funny, a few times a week I drip water in their webbing sometimes they just walk straight up to it and drink. This guy wouldn’t get off the lid so I figured I’d put a drop next to him and he dove face first in to it. Drank for a good 5+ minutes then calmly walked off the lid up his vial and back to his webbing. Versicolors are awesome slings.

I’ve always been able to ventrally sex Versicolors pretty easily and small. The males have a prominent “spot/patch” of hair. Just keep an eye out when on the glass.

Yeah I love them so far! One of mine is out pretty much all the time!
They are definitely more inquisitive than irminia I’ve raised

2 of my Balfouri just molted for the second time in 2-3 weeks! So far two are well ahead of the other three, curious what sex they end up.
I’ll load some pics of them when they harden up and I rehouse soon

How big is this one? Looks like its getting ready to molt.
Somewhere bw 1/8-1/4”. It molted a couple weeks ago and ate two nights ago but I keep my slings pretty warm so things go down suddenly. I love keeping things warmer always some action. I really hope it does though still makes me super nervous even though I’ve had it a while.

I have 3 of them around the same size. They are fun to watch.

I got that one then received one about 3 times the size as a freebie. Would love to be able to pair them but the thought of housing/feeding/selling that many Slings 1/16 or less seems nerve racking

I am hoping I have a pair as they mature. Mine are eating cut pieces of mealworms fine at that size. I think the slings will do the same at 2i. But yeah 75 tiny slings would be a fun challenge.

Yeah I don’t see my P. irminia, haven’t even seen exactly how big it even is, holed up in a tiny hide behind a piece of bark. Just sticks it’s black legs out.
