Alright well if my mom has a good mark after her surgery were going to ontario (hamilton) to be specific. I was telling my mom I was going to bring back mantids from there. Me and my cousins caught a few before. But the question is would they allow me bring them on the plan? I was going to put them in my check luggage in clean cricket keepers untill i got home. So what are the chances? Thank you for your time

Is there not a Canadian authority governing plants and plant pests? They would be the ones who make decisions regarding legalities of any insect and/or permits, so I would recommend caling that branch of the government and asking them. Chances are that inter-Canadian transport is allowed. The airlines may overlook the odd bits in the luggage, or may need to see them and you give a brief explaination.
