I was feeding my bearded dragon a lobster roach, and all the sudden a bunch of babies poured out of the roach. So i picked up the hide which was covered with baby roaches but then i dropped it on my floor, so there are babies all over my carpet. My mom is being extra paranoid that our house is going to be infested.

Now the fact that its almost winter, and is pretty cool in temp, and that the roaches were babies, what are the chances of an infestion :?

The chances are relatively small, if you keep your house clean. Also put down some sticky traps or some kind of trap to quickly rid of them. Good luck, and i hope you don't have to go through an infestation.

Actually - if you heat your home and you have any moisture anywhere and anyone drops a single fleck of crumbs of anything......you'll have the means for these to potentially survive and breed amongst themselves.
Sticky traps EVERYWHERE are a good idea....don't forget the drip tray under the fridge. It's a haven for roaches. As is your stove and under sink area....and where the trash is stored and any other pet food and the recyclables....
Catch my drift?

Best of Luck, friend. :)
