Chaco golden knee (G. aureostriata)

I just got this last night at Zookeeper in Austin, TX. Really small but ate very well for me today. :D You also can see it molted in the picture. If you have any tips about these guys, I would love to hear them! {D

idk if its because its so small, but that doesnt look like a Grammostola Aureostriata.

I have to disagree with ya there... DEF looks like a little Aureo to me. :D

I have a rather LARGE female that I raised from a sling who is almost mature. Def my favorite of all my T's! They are also BIG eaters (or at least my girl is)!!! She will sit and chow on up to 10 - 15 crix in one feeding. It's quite impressive... Very docile as well! I plan on breeding my girl some time next year and I'm soooo looking forward to it.

Congrats on the gentle giant!!! :D
