I decided to give my newest wc cornutas a good soak and a mouse each tonite.
Usually, Ill soak them all individually, but for some reason, I put them in altogether this time . . .
After a few minutes, my most prized frogs are amplexing in their "puddle", which is nothing more than a 16q sterelite tub with 3" of water and 5 frogs in it.

So much for all my planning with my ornates and cranwellis(the "easy" ones :? )

The second male is now amplexed on the all-green female that is facing away from the camera!

Sweet. Didn't you get eggs awhile ago? How are they doing?

The eggs were from my cranwellis, and they werent fertilized

This species, especially as wild-caught, is much more delicate and somewhat rare . . .

I REALLY REALLY hope I get eggs and tads from these frogs . . .

Good luck with those. When I kept them the males and females would lock up, but they never went further but never did they take it to the next level.

C. cornuta are great... though I wish they were less sensitive and picky. Good luck!!
