My Ceratogyrus brachycephalus only comes out at night, but she's a real beauty.

Very nice, lovely condition. I appreciate her shyness, but it would nice to see some more pics from above.

Don't want much, do I !!!! :D

Aaron, this one is about 3-4" across.

Huk7, I did actually get one top view:

and a ventral shot for good measure:

Hi Peter,

the Ceratogyrus species you shown, is not a C. brachycephalus. The "real" C. brachycephalus has a single Subabdominal Band (SAB) only over and between the first pair of booklungs and has pale second booklung cover but NO band over/between them.
Yours has a double SAB (over and between the first AND second booklungs).

The species you shown is presumably Ceratogyrus sanderi.

Thanks for enlightening me. Do you happen to have any pics of the real C. brachycephalus for comparison?

Thanks,
Peter

HI Austin,

i guess this spider has a double SAB (Subabdominal Band) what pointed it out as C. sanderi. ;)

Anyway, nice spider. ;)
