Caterpillar Photos

I found a few of these caterpillars hanging out on a tree and got some photos of them, here they are.

nice close-ups.. the species is Lymantria dispar, the gypsy moth

Nice photo great close up! See if you can find any with more yellow or white bodies, very rarely you'll find an odd colored one.

Once I found one with yellow spots on the side of it's body and a very yellow face, it never changed color as it matured, would have made a great photo.
