Well we finaly got a new therapy dog for Cassie, shes going in to be spayed and have few other things done then in few weeks she starts her training... Here you can see Cassie is bonding well with Sheba she is a huge 100 pound Akita.. She was rescued from a tiny not so caring shelter in another state... You can see where below her new collar she has a chain mark from where the shelter had a chain so tight it rubbed off all her hair and is now bare skin.. poor girl they also let flies bite her ears real bad and she has cement burns on her albows and back legs.. plus for all the time they had her she didnt even get a flea bath or any meds for anything.. Poor dog...

And the strong bonding continues, here Sheba is happy and relaxed in a new home staying very close to Cassie, laying down next to her feet while Cassie watches TV.. The process of a new therapy dog has begun..;) ;)

Her poor fly bit ears.. Today she gets a much needed flea and coat conditoner bath and the white paws and tail tip and patch on her chest will once again be white and her coat wont be so urin stained yellow... as you can see here no food agression as you can get right down in her food bowl with no probs, plus she will wait in a sit for a treat and only when we say ok she then takes the treat very very gently from your fingers.. This dog has fantastic potential....

That's awesome, Cuda. Looks like a great dog for Cassie. Kudos to you for getting her out of that shelter. I know she has a good home now. :)
