Carpenter Bee Care

So at work just yesterday, I was lucky enough to find a struggling Carpenter Bee. I assume she's a female Eastern Carpenter, given her lack of yellow face marking (Granted i dont know much about bees to fully determine the truth in that, but from what i see and identified her as being similar to, I'm almost certain this is the case.)
Her behavior at the beginning was quite odd to me; Lethargic, unable to fly, panicky in certain moments, and rather friendly considering I was such a big creature attempting to pick her up and hold her.
My coworkers and boyfriend have all watched me fawn over this sweet bee, and have helped with as much as they were brave enough to do, some even giving advice and offering to watch her for a bit while I finished some work.
Upon finally getting her to settle, she seemed to greatly appreciate my warmth, and just napped on my hand for my full hour of lunch, before i could go inside and make a makeshift container for her until the end of my shift (Thank you walmart)

For all of last night and into this morning, she didn't eat. But upon waking up, I tried creating a syrup for her; 1 TBLSP of water, 2 TBLSP of white granulated sugar.
Immediate results- She's had two feedings already, within the span of an hour.
I am about to go outside and find some smaller flowers for her, to make sure she gets her nutrients from natural plants, but I will wait until she wakes from her nap on my arm.
She is extremely sweet, enough to the point that my sister (Who is not a fan of holding bugs) was happy to hold her for a few seconds while she was active. Not a single aggressive action has been shown by her, and she much prefers to sleep on my arm rather than in her container.
On occasion, if she isn't very active/has felt it a few times after getting panicked, she will allow people to pet her very gently.
She is constantly cleaning herself, and very curious about her surroundings.
I may attempt to find some old wood while looking for the flowers, and give her a better container. But as of now, she is my work and home buddy for as long as I can help her stay alive.
Any other suggestions (Name's included, I can't seem to find one that sticks) and ideas are greatly appreciated, I am very much a beginner and want to give her a good life, even if it's close to the end!

It's a love - hate with these. They do cause damage.

I don't care for carpenter bees or carpenter ants either, the less I have around my home the better.
