Besides the Latrodectus menavodi, I also bought this beautiful spider on that fair.





Anyone who ever kept this kind of spiders ?
I 've put her in a critter keeper, with a layer of desert sand, and a few rocks to hide under. The keeper is heated with a 25W light bulb.

Wow! Did they give you much info on her at the fair? My search came up with those spiders (Carparachne) coming from the dunes of the Southern Namib desert!!! Talk about exotic!

LOL Bob! {D Great looking spider. I wish there was more of an interest in true spiders over here. More of an interest in inverts altogether actually. I want to go to an insect fair! :(

I was just comparing the eyes-seting of this specie and it does quite resemble Holconia to my opinion :?

am i seeing things wrong or can this be a relative to Holconia's ??? :? :? :?

compare here




really hope to catch Grabo on some fairs next week or months :}

Could be that they are relative to Holconia.

But I can't find anything about "venom" (if they are venomous :??)
