Carolina Wolf Spider

Well, I've now made the jump from Tarantulas to True Spiders having gotten a Carolina Wolf Spider today (H. carolensis-is that right?). I'm going to be moving it to a slightly larger enclosure, so I'd love recommendations on setting up the perfect habitat for Mozart. Care sheets give numbers, but I'd like to hear the voice of experience on what would make him the happiest. You can see his picture on my picture thread.

well, for mine (big fat 2.5" female) i just had a simple setup with some peat, kept fairly moist, and a couple of good hides and a waterdish with water in it at all times. she stayed in her hide most of the time, but was very active, and always very hungry! definitely an impressive spider, but other than humidity, some hides, and a waterdish, you should be allright.
