Carolina Mantid vs. same-sized Conehead Katydid

I put them both in a CD stack lid. My mantid was sitting in the center of the lid and caught the katydid as it was trying to climb the walls. Somehow during the struggle, the katydid ended up on its back. You can see the results below. I'm surprised the huge jaws of the katydid didn't present a problem to her.
