I caught a female Dark fishing spider about two months ago, she ended up laying an egg sac, and she started making a web so they are probably about to hatch. I have no experience with raising spiders, and I couldn’t find a lot of info on this specific species, and I had some questions:
  • When should I separate them from mom into individual containers?
  • How often should I feed them, and will fruit flies work?
  • What are there expected survival rates?
  • Are they fine at room temperature & humidity?
Any other care tips are welcome!

Depending on how many you want to keep I would keep them together for 1-2 weeks it's fairly easy but you will need to get good amount of flightless fruit flies.

They don't need mom for anything once they hatch in captivity. Your mother fishing spider is already going to be depleted of energy and be dehydrated best to get her out carefully.

Put her in container with real shallow water with cork bark she will drink good amounts of water .

Go to fabric store get a set of pantyhose sounds strange but keeps the slings from getting away.

They will cannibalize at some point but more than likely you will not want to keep 500+ slings
