Yeah no kidding! I have the same camera. Looks like a Nikon D70 with a MB 100 grip on it. But that macro set up is sick to say the least. That is quite the investment there? One day I will have to puchase a good macro lens and flash setup. But for now I must dream!

I think when I upgrade, I am going to go with a Pentax as I have just found a goldmine of lenses and equipment that were my grandfathers, who was a photographer by trade.

Though I have used the D70 and seen a lot of work that was done with it, until recently, that was the camera I had planned on purchasing.

Sheri, thanks for finding that website, it's one of the best i have ever seen! Did you look at all the high speed photography he has done as well? I've got a lot of respect for him, they way he works round the problems he encounters is amazing.

Cheers,

Yeah, it is pretty damn cool.

Though now I have all kinds of crazy idea in my head, and I didn't really have room for any more! ;)

Wow, that is quite the set-up. I should probably learn how to use my Nikon Coolpix 4100 before I move up to that league. :8o

Pentax makes some very nice cameras too. And they are affordable cuz your not paying for the name like a Nikon or Cannon. And if you have the lenses thats the way to go for sure, thats where the money is. The glass always cost more than the camera body and is what gives you the good clarity anyway. I just wish I could find a a goldmine of lenses! :wall:

This link is great.

I haven't got any digital camera now but soon I should be able to get Nikon D70s with Sigma Macro lens (105/2,5f). When I attach MC7 2xconversion lens and additional equipment I should be able to take better pictures. But I think there will be too much "glass" to take really bright high speed pics.

You should be able to get some damn nice pics with that set up.
I wish I had the "S" model D70. The screen on the back is bigger and if I could change anything about my camera that would be it. Oh well. I still like burning film better than digital anyway. At this point I end up using my Nikon N80 just as much as my D7O. Aside from the cost I like good old film better than digital. Digital is really nice to have though!
