Canadian board

Hey guys, one of my friends has access to the Canadian section of arachnoboards.. yet I can't figure out how to get there. He mentioned that he had to ask to find out, does anyone know how I can do this?

Click 'User CP'. Once that loads, on the left, click 'Group Memberships'. Once that loads, click the radio button for the Canadian forum and click 'Join Group'.

Since I'm not a member, I assume it will automatically send a request to skinheaddave, but I could be wrong.
