So at my job a guest complained about a snake so I went over and caught but we don't know what type of snake it is. Can you identify it?
I live in central Florida.
Looks like you got a juvenile Glossy Crawfish Snake(Regina rigida rigida) there, either that or a Gulf Crawfish Snake, depending within which part of FL it was found. These are Natricine snakes, which means that they are related to the Water and Garter Snakes, but while the others are fish eaters, these feed almost entirely upon live crawfish, hence the common name.
