I was wondering if red runners are sufficient food source fir a Tegenaria Domestica juvy. Or do they have too much of a hardshell for them to deal with?
I used to keep the tunnel weaver grass spiders and they would eat crickets and other food and always bring the corpse way away from their hide, outside to the outer part of the web. The t. Domestica doesn't seem to do that with the left over corpse, I keep putting tiny red runners and can't tell if she's eating them there are no signs
Im feeding her crickets again. There are a couple redrunners in too. One of the runners grew to be almost her size ughh I hate when that happens. My grass tunnel web spider died from that a few years ago Im guessing it killed him. I'm going to be rehousing this spider soon. Into a 15 gal.
Red runners don't leave much evidence, especially small ones. It's the thinnest exoskeleton of any roach I believe, sometimes only a few flakes of the hardest parts left.
Picture is probably too bad of quality sorry, can't find my flashlight and My phone camera won't work while it's flashlight is in use. Can anyone see the any pattern to tell if this is T.Domestica or a hobo spider?
