Thank you all for the appreciation. I have almost 20 Golden Earth Tigers, I keep some and sell some. They are less aggressive than the Black Earth Tigers and they are really adorable, beautifully golden carapace enchants...

They look so similar and a friend of mine told
me that they may be the same species~

Anyone has cross-bred these two bad guys
before? Is it possible that they are geographical
subspecies?

I belive Volker vonWirth has been cross-breeding these to see if the offspring are fertile. If they are fertile then there is a high chance the two spiders are the same species.

Volker has examined O.huwena and S.hainana material and found it to be taxonomically identical to H.schmidti.

I'm sure Martin or Volker will correct me if I am wrong!
