Will someone give me a second opinion on this because the last molt I swear I sexed this B.smithi as a boy.
Are these guys harder to sex under 2" ? :?
He was previously 2 3/4" on his last molt and he/she is about 3" now.

Yeah but he was suppose to be our stud for a couple of females and now I have to wait for another male.

At what size is your smithi and how many molts have you been sexing him a male? I bought mine when she was 2nd or 3rd instar :?
I looked at the pics from her last couple molt's and I swear there is no flap.

My She/male is probably about 3 inches. Ive had it since it was about an inch. Ive only been able to really see anything the last two molts. Both seemed very lacking in the female area. But outside... its a she for sure!:?

AND, I just pulled my 1.5" OBT molt and could swear it was male. then ventrally, same thing. Looks totally female. :?

Yeah I think I am gonna start waiting until I have a 2"+ exoskeleton in my hands just to make sure.
