Can someone I.D. this Piller?

I was hanging out in my kitchen the other day when I started hearing my dog barking at something outside. I look and he's barking at this caterpiller that chillin' on my deck. Any idea what kind it is, and what it turns in to? I've never seen one before.

Looks to be some kind of Papillionidae, swallowtail butterflies. Probably Papilio rutulus.

i love the way it looks like eyes,proberly to scare off predators,and i think they have a really stinky odor too
