Hello everyone, it's been a long time since I've been posting on this forum but I had a dilemma that bothered me for a few weeks :
I have some stick insects (Sungaya inexpectata) that bred over the course of 2018 and I tried to sell them but there's just too many popping right now (I have around 8 that hatched over the last 2 weeks) and I was wondering if I can feed some to my 2 adult crested geckos ? The baby stick insects are around 2 cm and would be just fine in size for my cresties but I was wondering if their exoskeleton might be to hard to digest for my geckos ? Any advice ? Same goes for my Tarantulas, I have 4 right now that are between 3 and 5 cm and would be fine in size to eat them but I'm afraid their exo skeleton might also be too hard for their fangs.
I had this idea that came to mind because I can't keep all this stick insects (I counted approximately 60 more eggs to hatch during this year) but I wanted your opinion on the matter and if anyone has done that already.
Thanks a lot for your feedback.
