Can I feed wax moths to pets

Been breeding wax worms as food, wax worms don't develop any toxicity once in the moth stage do they?

I'm curious because I've heard some moths are toxic to birds.

Also does anyone know if wax worms/moths would be toxic to insect eating birds?

I'm not an expert on this, but I believe the toxic butterflies are usually pretty vibrant in color, (hence the monarch and its non-toxic look-alike the viceroy). But they're toxic not because they are moths/butterflies, but because of what the larvae eat. Especially like tiger moths..

So on principal I do not forsee the wax worm adults causing problems if the young are readily eaten. But don't risk your pets on my logical reasoning..
