Can female Chinese mantis fly?

Recently I bought a Chinese mantis ootheca and am wondering whether the fully grown females can fly as I have he mixed results with the internet

females usually cannot fly. but there can always be a small exception. even to begin with mantis's flying is more like "falling". they cant go very far or control it very well. its just for emergences to get somewhere else quickly.
