I found these guys in Port Douglas Queensland Australia, I would love to find out a bit more about them... maybe keep them as pets if I find them again once I have an enclosure for them. They were really friendly and followed me around. Does anyone know what they are?

@RezonantVoid could probably answer this
Any other jumper except these, I'd have been useless lol

Those are some gorgeous Cosmophasis sp., I wouldn't know their exact species but if I was ever to keep a jumping spider genus, these would probably be the ones I'd choose. Unlike the more well known peacock spiders, where only the shorter lived males have vibrant colours, both males and females of Cosmophasis have the beautiful sparkly colours

A handful, yes. Here's a male Maratus pavonis i saw in Fish Creek, VIC.

I've also seen M.nemo a week after it was described and just 3 days ago, an unknown azure blue one that resembled M.nigromaculatus

The green one is Cosmophasis micarioides?

Thanks Guys
I really appreciate it.
The purple and gold one was especially spectacular. It laid eggs on my outdoor table and the babies were so small I could barely see them and they looked like they were eating food scraps which doesn't make sense. Maybe they were stealing tiny pieces of raw broccoli for shelter or to attract insects?
Even the adults are probably to small to keep.
