hi i have two tarantulas and some snakes and yesterday i got an armadillo lizard. i wanted to know what type of lizard he is categorized in.. plated lizard, ect. here is a pic of him. he is about 8-10 inches in length and he is shedding so the pics are bad because he is dirty and he just got out of the water bowl.

So can anyone help me?:? :? i would love to find out more info on these as i looked up info and i learned lots of cool things but if you guys know anything tell me so i can learn more. thanks

Looks like a Cordylus tropidosternum

The scientific name is correct. They are in the family of Plated or Girdled lizards.
