Cameroon Red Baboon (Hysterocrates gigas)

I have a H gigas at a good size however I haven't seen it in about litterally a year and half or so. Should I be worried that it may be dead? I haven't fed it any crickets because usually when a burrower is hungry it comes out its hide even if the only thing you ever see is its feet. I don't even see its feet ever! Should I be worried? should I lift up the Cave thing and see if its alive? This is the best picture I can show you because this is all I ever see lol. you can't see it in this picture but there is actually a whole made by the T in the right hand front corner (because its a top view). Also that dead T smell isn't there and there are no small flies that you usually see in a T tank because of dead cricket bolus.

Oh I have fed it since that long lol, I'm just saying I don't see it too much. I think the last time I put some crickets in there some time in the middle of last month. I'll put some more crickets in there now and see if they disappear.. my fault I should have added that part about still putting in food since then lol...

If food is still disappearing then of course she's eating and probably ok. I suspect she wouldn't mind more depth to dig in though. That exoterra has what, 4" of sub? You could get her a setup with about 10" of substrate and when you dig her up to rehouse you'll get a good look at her and assess her condition.

If she's been in there for 2 years I guess she's used to it but still... Put her in a big round plastic jar and she'll dig to the bottom and you'll get to see her network of tunnels through the jar. My 4" H gigas has the coolest, most visible tunnel system in my whole collection.
