camera flash and breeding

ok I am going to be breeding G. rosea in a few weeks and I was wondering. after I get the male how long should I wait before I try to breed them. and second I would like to take pictures only my camera needs the flash on in order to take good pictures would the flash disturb the T's?

The camera flash will not bother them. I take pictures of just about every pair that I put together.

That is one of my questions plus what about when they are molting? my T is going to molt soon and I want to catch every minute.

The only thing really set in stone on waiting is that you need to wait until he builds a sperm web. He may have already built one though and even if you have him from the time he matures, he may build one and tear it down without you knowing it.

As far as acclimation goes after you get him, I believe that is going to be completely subjective. Wait as long as you think is necessary. I've put males in the very next day and had them breed. I've also waited a couple of weeks and had them not breed. Wait until you feel comfortable with it and then give him a whirl. Good luck and keep your wooden spoon handy.
