I found a wild caught speckled king snake about 10"in length I put it in a 10g tank the next day it was still scaling the sides so I figure it would be best to let go.if I ever encounter a baby specked king again I will try hard to tame it.can any one give me some tips on Taronga baby snake.

You really can't tame them to be honest. Some tolerate handling better than others. The best bet with keeping wild caught kings is to just support them and not squeeze them. They are really easy to keep and acclimate to captivity very well. I've kept lots of them. They have personality to spare and eat like they're made of stomach. Once you have them out for a bit they usually calm down but I've seen some that want you dead no matter what. It all depends on the individual snake
