California Laws??? (black widows)

I was wondering if anybody knows about laws in California regarding black widows. Most native species are illegal to keep or sell as pets, but I'm not sure about this one. I know black widows demand a decent price and I can catch them in my backyard. I'm wondering what the legality of me shipping them out of state would be. I was thinking I could call the department of fish and game but figured I'd try here first. :?

i'm not from california but last time i heard it's illegal to ship black widow spiders using the postal services, think this also applies to snakes and other dangerous creatures.

best thing to do is contact the fish and game department
or the shipping company you're planning to use , they should be able to answer your question.
