My brother recently gave my fiance his cal king, it was sold to him as a "matrix" cal king. Anyone know if this is an actual morph? The reason I ask is I googled it and came up empty, I also "used the search function" that so many people are quite fond of, and came up empty again, and was wondering if theres any viability to the ID of the snake.

I don't know much about colubrids, but I'm sure someone can help.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

there are also a lot of hybrids of kings, so it could be a random mix that the owner gave a cool sounding name to (always happens)

Could you possibly get a picture of the snake? or even describe what it looks like? I have delt with cali kings for just about 8 years now, and have never heard any reference to "matrix" before.
