More specifically calcium with vitamin D is necessary if UV is not provided or provided in sufficient amounts.

If you're raising it outdoors and feeding a diet naturally high in calcium, possibly no, but most people do need to.

LOLZ i am showing him if he decided to climb the window its that high for him !! guess that works.. he did not go near the window anymore.. quite a big eater for his size.. its about 1.5 ft long and rally feast on all types of veg i gave him.. big eater = big poo poo..
