Caccoon Care?

Is there any specific guidelines to care for cacoons of butterfly or moths? I found a caterpillar that was in the ground and over night it cocooned itself, i just need to know if i need to keep it in cool place, warm place, moist or what not.

i always hadluck with room temperature, and thats about it. i always had them hatch perfectly fine.

yea, room temps are fine.. and after X-amount of days
whenever it decides to come out... don't help it along!
I made that mistake once as a little girl...
:(

well depends on species really i hatched a monarch in about 2 months....but thats an estimant. i didnt really count.

i have a cecropia cocoon i have been waiting on since mid-march. hope it hatches this month and is a monster.
