Does anyone have a good, reliable address for deliveries to mainland Europe? The local vendor just treats his critters with disrespect, and while I'd really like to save them, I'd also feel terrible for giving him an income.. There isn't any other store that sells them in my country as far as I can tell.

Also, I'm a bit worried when it comes to online purchasing, because when I see how packages are processed (tossed about and stuff) I just fear for the animal's well-being. :/ Anyone have some information on the shipping process and how the creature reacts to it?

Cheers!

Yes, being shipped is never a fun experience for any animal. However, a responsible seller will take every measure to ensure their animals are packaged as secure as possible. For example, my P. Metallica female came shipped to me. She was in a deli cup with dry cotton balls to cushion her, that deli cup was inside of an insulated Styrofoam box with packing peanuts stuffed to the brim around it and was snugly fitted inside of the shipping box. Which clearly stated which was the top and bottom and that there was a live animal inside. While I'm sure she wasn't fond of the trip, the bumps didn't phase her much.

It's normal for the animal to be stressed after shipping, but you just put them in their enclosure, leave them alone to settle in and unwind for a day or two and voila

Sorry, but there aren't private breeders in Belgium, where you can buy one in first person thus reducing shipping stress?
