Bud wing mantis vs very large locust

Thanks, i didn't think she was going to take this locust at first due to its size, when the mantis is in its mormal stance it looks even smaller compared to the locust, they are extreamely brave when it comes to food, my flatrock scorpion sometimes wont take these. :)

They're insatiable. I have an adult that takes down hisser subadults & MM dubias(not often, mind you).

Another thing that amaze's me is the weight they manage to hold on to while the pray item is seriously heavy and going mad trying to escape, just on those skinny tiny little legs... crazy behaviour...

I watched a mantis eat a frog once that was close to 2x its size. They're little monsters.
