A small size Critter Keeper is the right size, but the lid needs adjusting so that the vent holes arent too big. Put some sticks in one corner for their daytime sleeping/hiding web.

will they live together?

Nope. You can try them in a M/F pair to try to breed them, but they will kill each other eventually.

dirt ok for the bottom?

Yes. Keep it on the dry side with a small water dish.
