Normal male
Hypo female
Hypo male
Axanthic. My dream snake--I'm so glad to finally own one!
The breeder took this pic. She's in shed right now, so I can't get a good shot of her.
Here's a female Eastern x Brooksi cross. The male is in shed right now, but he looks just as colorful.
I absolutely adore these guys. They are just as tame as my corns, but while corns will always try to be going somewhere when you're handling them, these kings are more inclined to curl up into a ball in the palm of your hand. Absolutely adorable when you consider how they make a big show of rattling their tail.
On top of that, they are just fascinating animals. They don't musk or defecate at the drop of a hat like cal kings do. They're very fast at swallowing pinkies; I'd say twice as fast as my corns, and a bajillion times faster than my cal kings. They also have a different style of moving their body which is neat to observe. I can totally see these guys outspeeding and empowering other snakes--totally living up to their name.
