British colombia lizards

Hmm my friend says in Fernie Bc theres lizards is this true i dont think it is due to the fact its really cold

My books tell me that there are 4 species of lizards in BC.
Elgaria coerulea principis (Northwestern Alligator Lizards), Phrynosoma douglasi douglasi (Pigmy Short-horned Lizards), Eumeces skiltonianus (Western Skinks), and the introduced species Podarcis muralis (European Wall Lizards)

Yes it is true there are lizards in Fernie BC. there are also rubber boas in the kootenays where i live.
