Hi Kyle,
I have a few females here for this bloke. I'm hoping to export this species if successful, however before that I'll be offering them to ATA members at a discounted rate. I've only got the one male, in fact the first male I've ever even seen, they are very rare to come by, of all the wild caughts there have been I've never heard of an eggsac in captivity before. No male has ever been collected, so only females have ever been seen. On top of that this group with the dwarf males (nothern Selenotypus) are the most difficult to breed IMO, the females can be highly aggressive, so I'm not in high hopes about this species yet ;) I'd really like to get these going in captivity, the females are one of the largest of the Selenotypus, do you have one of these???

Anyway, if I have luck, you are welcome to some :)

Cheers,
Steve

Used to have one but josh has it now... i think i told you about it before, she was a big girl to for a selenotypus to. I'd like to get my hands on another adult female one of these days but the only person i know that would have one for sale at the moment would be ridiculously expensive  :wall:

Hi Kyle,
Ah yeah, Josh sent me that girl to breed with the male. Believe it or not she's actually a young and smaller one, you should see my biggest girl, she's twice the size of your old girl ;) When I pair the male up to her, it will look real funny :)

Selenocosmia is a genus, which includes one or more species. Selenotypus is another genus with several species, this one here seems not to be described, so it has no name ;O)
