And of course the first to lay eggs is the most unexpected, least wanted one :}
I've had this girl for about 3 years, from sling to adult. She mated a couple of months ago with one of her brother, and I wasn't really expecting a sac so soon! She's pretty small and I was thinking a molt was coming. The temperature is even pretty low (20ºC night - 23ºC day) in my spider room and her enclosure is small and I didn't even put a hide for her yet, but something triggered the egglaying and well...gave me the chance to take some pics of this beautiful process. The egg laying of most spiders from this area is in summer, not the end of winter! so this is pretty weird...but then again this has been a weird winter, with few days of cold weather.

Too much silk for a molt hammock! :p

After a couple of days she finally dropped the eggs

Pato.
